After nearly 20 years of teaching Chris is still passionate about the fun and benefits dance can bring to others, She understand how daunting and self-conscious people can feel when they first start and has helped even the shyest of people overcome their fears. Although in 2006 an operation left her in constant pain which restricted her own ability to dance, she remains an excellent teacher who is skilled in adapting her teaching style to meet the needs of the learner, who is always willing to help others anyway she can as she still takes pride and get a great since of pleasure from seeing others having fun and flourish on the dance floor as their confidence grows. |
Malcolm

In 1996 Malcolm joined LeRoc Classes at our original venue at Park Barn in Guildford when we were known as The JiveIn. He continued classes at our second venue in Farnborough and then came to The Princes Hall in Aldershot when all the classes were amalgamated into one. For several years Malcolm has been the primary demonstrator for classes at the Princes Hall and for when we are guest teachers at dance weekenders. Unknown to many he is also an expert in ballroom dance, loves his classic motorbike and has spent many years dancing his way around the world on cruise ships. As the quietest male member of our crew, ladies you will have to ask him to dance! |
Mandy

Mandy is the quietest of the crew, but don't be fooled she likes nothing more than a day out with Malcolm on their classic bike. An experienced Jive and ballroom dancer with an unimposing style, Guy's she is always willing to dance and help you with moves if you ask. |
Nigel

A larger than life character who just wants to have fun! On first meeting Nigel you'll soon discover he is a total 'dance tart' with a big heart, His enthusiasm and dedication to help the beginners is limitless. Ladies be warned!!! If you don't ask him for a dance he will come and find you! ;-) |
Neil

Neil is a very caring considerate dancer who never forgets what it was like to be a beginner, as when he joined us many years ago as a shy beginner who lacked confidence, he is living proof that with a desire to dance coupled with the help and support of our friendly club, three left feet can take control on the dance floor. When he became crew he got more than he bargained for, a Wife! |
Matt

Matt first started with Irish Dancing at the tender age of four and a half, by the age of thirteen he placed his box full of trophy's under his bed and decided that he wanted to dance for pure pleasure and not for competitions. This led him into LeRoc. At eighteen Matt is now an experienced Jiver and partnered Christine in the spotlight dance routine for the premier performance of "Stand by Your Beds". He wants to share the joy of dance and is currently training to become a qualified Teacher of LeRoc. |
